Cynthia D. Terry-Executive Director
Cynthia Terry has been an LPN for seven years, earning her nursing diploma in 2009 from Tri-State Medical Academy and also earned her Legal Nurse Consultant Certification in the same year from Jurex. She earned her Paralegal certification from the University of Southern Indiana in 2005. She was co-owner of the family business until she left to pursue work in the mental health field where she worked for six years. She started in this field at River Valley Behavioral Health. Cynthia has always been someone who has wanted to help the disadvantaged and fighting for people's rights, which is the main reason why she wanted to be in the legal field, encouraging people to stand up for their rights. Working as a nurse, she could clearly see an individual and the family's needs on a daily basis. This is what prompted her to start Cindy Terry Outreach, Inc., helping people that do not have the resources or the means to help pay for medications or other needed items for daily care and daily living. Cynthia or Cindy which she prefers to be called is a devout Christian and accepted Christ when she was in the fourth grade. She also wants to have a weekly bible study tv show teaching the word of God through her outreach organization.
Scott L. Terry-President, Treasurer
Scott Terry was born and raised in Henderson, Kentucky in April of 1969. He attended Central Elementary School and Henderson County High School where he excelled in track and football. He was All-State in track in 1985, 1986, and 1987. He is also a Henderson County High School Hall of Fame recipient. He was awarded a full athletic scholarship to Morehead State University in 1987 and attended for 1 year. Scott graduated from ITT Tech in 1999 with an Electronic Engineering Degree and a 3.6 GPA. Scott started a group called “MyJitas” in 2007 that helped families that were in need of food items. Scott was also a math tutor for First Missionary Baptist Church and has donated to United Way, Unicef and Breast Cancer Research. He currently spends his free time making Christian t-shirts. Scott has been happily married to his Christian Missionary wife, Theresa for 25 years. They have three grown children.
Michelle Cohen-Vice-President, Secretary
Michelle Cohen earned her nursing diploma in 2009 as an LPN from Fortis College in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is currently a nurse scheduler at Mallard Cove as well as the full-time first shift nurse on the dementia unit. She is a very caring nurse to her patients. She was previously owner of Visions Salon and Day Spa having recently sold her business. Michelle has been a Vacation Bible School Teacher since 2011 and proudly still serves in that capacity. She is a volunteer mentor to 3 young ladies, which she stepped up to do after seeing they needed guidance and help, and has been their mentor for the last three years. Michelle loves to socialize and has a very giving heart. In her spare time Michelle volunteers at soup kitchens assisting the needy and also volunteers to serve at Walnut Hill Church in the kitchen for their holiday meals. She is a mother, wife and Christian woman who truly believes in God for every aspect of her life.
Corrina Floyd-Director
Corrina Floyd is an advocate for The American Cancer Society. She was previously actively involved in the daycare, kitchen, and the Usher Board at her church. She states that she is a “people advocate”. She states that her job that she currently has, employs a diverse amount of people that are temporary workers. She is their advocate and their voice when they are mistreated and discriminated against. When she is asked to donate or walk for organizations, she does her best to participate in as many as she can, if anyone needs her help and she can help-she does. Corrina is always willing to assist in fundraising for a worthy cause and she loves to travel. She loves to share her love of God to anyone who will listen and even to those who don’t. She does not like to see anyone mistreated and wants to see everyone happy. She loves reading books and trying to learn all that she can about natural hair care and is currently taking Spanish lessons from her Spanish speaking friends
